Club ProfileWe are a Service Club affiliated to Lions Club International, the largest service organization in the world comprising of 1,4 million members. 1957 saw the birth of the first Lions Club in Southern Africa. There are over 240 Lions Clubs in Southern Africa offering business and professional people a way of sharing their success by helping those less fortunate than themselves, ultimately giving the people of Southern Africa a renewed perspective for a future filled with hope The Lions Club of Fish Hoek was chartered in 1973 and has at present 26 members. The Club serves the communities of the southern Cape Peninsula (Western Cape , South Africa) comprising the communities of Simonstown, Redhill, Glencairn, Ocean View, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, Sun Valley, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg Our main activities within our communities are Sight First, Lions Quest Skills for Adolescents, Medic Alert, Diabetes Awareness, Support of Senior Citizens, Collection and Distribution of Food Parcels to the needy
