CLUB PROJECTS

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

Annually the Club organizes a Christmas party for the less fortunate children in our area who are entertained and provided with balloons, cool drinks, sweets, Father Christmas and presents.

COLLECT-A-CAN

Monthly, canned food and other types of food are collected from donations made by the public at local Supermarkets and distributed to the needy.

COMMUNITY CARNIVAL

The Club assists in raising funds at the Community Carnival.

FISH HOEK LIONS EYE CLINIC

The Club has adopted this project as our major project - for further information on the Eye Clinic click here.

HAPPY BUS

Monthly Senior Citizens are taken for a days outing.

HEALTH DAYS, MEDIC ALERT AND DIABETES AWARENESS              

Health, Medic Alert and Diabetes awareness days are held periodically through out the year. Monthly the Club assists at the Diabetic Support Group.

ONE-TO-ONE

The Club runs a fun stall for the physically handicapped at the annual One-to-One Project.  

PEACE POSTER

Annually children from local schools are encouraged to make a Peace Poster for entry into the International Peace Poster Competition.

SAND CASTLES COMPETITION

During the Annual Christmas Holidays the Club runs a Sand Castle building competition on our local beach for local children and children on holiday. 

SENIORS CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Seniors Christmas Party is held annually for the less fortunate and lonely Senior Citizens of our community.

SENIORS ENTERTAINMENT EVENING

An evening of entertainment is organized by the Club for Senior Citizens.
